Navigating Compliance Pitfalls Of Hire And Work From Anywhere

Is remote work anywhere a dream? Or can it be turned into a reality? What are the barriers to doing so and the opportunities for companies that get this right?

Welcome to our second series of the work from anywhere webinar series. This is a series featuring some of the leading people around the world in remote work, global mobility and work from anywhere compliance (remote work tax, employment law, digital nomads, etc.).

This week’s episode was moderated by John Lee of The Work From Anywhere Team and we were delighted to be joined by Bhagyashree Pancholy, award-winning remote law expert and General Counsel at Lano, Becky Woods, Senior Director of Global Mobility at ADP and top 250 global mobility leader and Brian Friedman, Strategy Director at Benivo, Host of Benivo Bites and Non-Executive Board Advisor at AltoVita.

A fantastic panel to discuss the compliance pitfalls of hire from anywhere and temporary international remote work, as well as broader work from anywhere trends.

Key compliance risks of hire and work from anywhere

Anyone who has been following Bhagyashree Pancholy over the past year has seen her raise awareness about some of the key compliance risks of both hire from anywhere and temporary international remote work.  Bhagyashree was recently named as 30 women legal innovators in Asia to follow in 2022 by Asia Law Portal.

Becky Woods has seen some of these challenges herself first hand with her work in global mobility in ADP, an award-winning payroll and HR tool. Becky herself has recently been named in the top 250 global mobility leaders in the world by Benivo.

Brian Friedman is one of the most experienced leaders in the world on global mobility and is the strategy director at award-winning global mobility solution Benivo. He also hosts one of the leading, if not the leading, show on global mobility each week called Benivo Bites.
